In August 2014, LLC VIKAR performed the river transportation of four drainage tanks with a total weight of 760 tons from a temporary pier in the settlement of Kriushi (storage site) in the Ulyanovsk region to the pier in Nizhnekamsk for the needs of the deep oil refining plant OJSC “ TAIF-NK.

A barge platform T1002 of project 81109 with a carrying capacity of 1000 tons was supplied for the river carriage of goods. Oversized equipment is shipped using RO-RO method, two tanks per vessel. Cargoes are installed on transport cradles, the fastening is made according to the developed project of loading and cargo securing on a barge. On the inland waterways running along the Volga and Kama rivers, large-sized heavy equipment was delivered to Nizhnekamsk on the Transkam pier. From the barge, the ro-ro tank equipment was overloaded using a port crane with a loading capacity of 600 tons. VIKAR has made two flights under this project.
